After two decades in luxury fashion at Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Givenchy, Celine, and Dolce & Gabbana, Meagan launched South Swim in 2024 with a clear vision: to reimagine swimwear through artistic design and technical innovation.
Recognizing that swimwear often prioritizes aesthetics over fit, she set out to apply the same precision, structure, and craftsmanship found in luxury ready-to-wear. The result is a collection of elegant, sculpting pieces designed to honor the female form and move effortlessly from coast to coast.
Meagan divides her time between the West Coast and London with her husband and three children.
ETHICAL & SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING
We are driven by strategies designed to limit the environmental impact of the production process—from material selection to manufacturing, packaging, and shipping. South Swim works with a carefully vetted network of suppliers and production partners across Los Angeles and Europe. We partner exclusively with manufacturers who share our commitment to ethical labor practices and environmental responsibility.
Our fabrics are monitored throughout their lifecycle to reduce water usage, energy consumption, and chemical impact. We use materials that meet or exceed the most stringent international environmental standards, including ISO 14001, OEKO-TEX®, EU REACH, and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Shipping is essential, yet contributes to carbon emissions and climate impact. South Swim covers the cost of carbon offsets for every order through our partnership with Cloverly, automatically neutralizing shipping emissions on behalf of our customers.
All packaging is 100% curbside recyclable, with many items also home compostable—including mailers, garment bags, tissue, stickers, labels, and adhesives. We use only FSC-certified, recycled materials and soy-based inks.
We intentionally forgo suit pouches, reducing unnecessary waste. Each suit is perfectly packable on its own.
